We can slow down and indulge in sensation and vibration and we can learn how to feel and harness our lifeforce energy. \nIn these 2 hour classes\, Andy Butterfield of Yoganu in London blends essential themes of tantra yoga\, the wisdom of shiatsu and energy medicine with a mindful\, breath-led yoga flow practice and consent-based partner work. You will be guided through slow and sensual movement\, postures and practices that will help you let go of striving and grasping and rest back in acceptance that you are already enough. \ \nIt will help if you have had some experience of yoga but the class is open to all levels. The nervous system relaxes\, the breath deepens\, the heart rate slows and we feel connected\, calm and quiet. \nMany of us can feel deprived of physical contact and touch and yet it is so vital to our wellbeing and happiness. Even if we have regular sex\, a sensual element to it can be missing; that sweetness of just being held.\nIn this naked workshop\, we will step out of our stuff and our stories and find the freedom to take intimacy\, connection and sensuality a little deeper. We will work together to create a safe space that meets people’s varying need for physical contact with others. Each person will get to determine their own boundaries and preferences during the workshop. \nThe session will involve movement\, mindful awareness\, shared touch and massage and partner and small group exercises.\nJoin us and inhabit your body more fully\, relaxing into it with deeper compassion\, appreciation and contentment. \nANDY is a Tantra Yoga teacher and somatic therapist and has been facilitating spaces for gay\, bi and queer men to connect from the heart for 10 years. DESCRIPTION:This class focuses on consenting\, ritualised non-sexual touch and gentle partner yoga led by Peter and sometimes supported by an assistant teacher. \nThe sessions lay the foundations for Tantric practice. It is suitable for beginners and those wishing to deepen their practice. Practices will invite presence and embodiment. Breath practices to calm or enliven your subtle energy will be explored. Playful partner yoga and foundational Tantric touch skills will be taught within a safe space. \nThe practice invites you to notice the nuances between sensuality\, intimacy and arousal (which is very welcome in whatever form it shows up\, however genital touch is not allowed in the practice). \nThis class is designed for everyone including absolute beginners.
