A Few Guidelines for Choosing a Workshop

Tantra and embodied workshops can vary widely in style, intensity, and philosophy. The following suggestions may help you choose something that feels right for you.
Trust Your Body
  • Tantric and embodied work invites you to listen deeply to your instincts.
  • If something feels exciting but grounded, that’s often a good sign.
  • If something feels pressured, unclear, or overwhelming, it may not be the right event for you.
Research the Facilitator, Take a moment to look at:
  • their website or social media
  • their training or background
  • how they speak about consent, boundaries, and inclusion
  • You want to feel comfortable with the person holding the space.
Contact the Facilitator if You’re Unsure, Most facilitators are happy to answer questions before you book. You might ask things like:
  • Is this workshop suitable for beginners?
  • What level of touch or intimacy is involved?
  • What consent practices do you use?
  • What support is available if something feels emotionally intense?
Know Your Boundaries, You are always free to:
  • say no
  • modify an exercise
  • step out of a process
  • leave an event if you need to
Healthy facilitators actively support participant autonomy.
Start Gently if You’re New, If you are new to tantra or embodied work, you might start with:
