Closeness / conscious touch mini retreat

This workshop is an invitation to go deeper into the practice of connection. It focuses on consenting, ritualised touch and gentle partner yoga led by Peter and sometimes supported by an assistant teacher.

The sessions lay the foundations for Tantric practice. It is suitable for beginners and those wishing to deepen their practice. Practices will invite presence and embodiment. Breath practices to calm or enliven your subtle energy will be explored. Playful partner yoga and foundational Tantric touch skills will be taught within a safe space.

The practice invites you to notice the nuances between sensuality, intimacy and arousal (which is very welcome in whatever form it shows up, however genital touch is not allowed in the practice).

This class is designed for everyone including absolute beginners. You will need to be comfortable with touching and being touched by other men in a compassionate non-sexual way. It is normal to be nervous before your first session, so come at least ten minutes early to check in with the teacher who will take care of you.
